Hey friends,
This is my first “From the CEO” letter. Sounds fancy, right? The truth: Snippets Press is just me (plus a swarm of AI agents that don’t get health insurance).
So why write a CEO note? Because every solo founder deserves to think—and communicate—like the person steering the ship, even if the ship looks more like a kayak.
Here’s what’s been on my mind lately:
Developers (myself included) often undervalue what we already know.
We’re great at solving other people’s problems, but blind to the value of our own scars and shortcuts.
Meanwhile, people pay real money for “Intro to HTML” taught by someone who learned it last Tuesday.
That disconnect? It’s costing us.
Here’s the heart of Snippets Press:
✨ Your scars are assets.
✨ Your hacks are valuable.
✨ Your knowledge can pay you back.
👉 If this resonates, hit reply: What’s one piece of knowledge you’ve been sitting on that you’re not sure anyone would pay for?
I’ll share anonymized patterns in a future note.
Thanks for reading,
—Rafael George
CEO (and only employee), Snippets Press
P.S. This is an experiment. If you like it, I’ll keep going. If not, you’ve just witnessed the shortest-lived CEO series in newsletter history.
