We must be willing to let go of the life we planned to have, the life waiting for us.

Joseph Campbell

After careful consideration, I have decided to pursue a new opportunity and work towards building a tech company.

I am still more of a builder than a writer at this stage.

Embarking on this new journey will involve many uncertainties and bring personal growth.

I am excited about the challenge and see it as an opportunity for learning and personal development, which have always been my main drivers. This opportunity represents the challenge that will propel me to the next level.

There are just a few details about the business, but I promise to provide more information as things progress. The short pitch is that I want to build digital products.

Snippets of Text is a publication supported by its readers. To receive new posts and support my work, please consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. By subscribing, you get a free copy of my Agile ebook.

I plan to write about my experiences and share valuable lessons. My posts will be shorter, more personal, and packed with insights. I aim to publish weekly and even more often as I learn.

I want to be transparent about building a tech company and share my experiences and potential insights with others. The main idea is to learn how to go from conception of ideas to execution and delivery, all as a one-person army team.

I'll need your support to grow the audience for Snippets of Text. If you're willing to help, please share it with those who might find it helpful.

Building this business will refocus my writing.

I chose Snippets of Text because it felt expansive enough to cover my broad interests.

My writing will focus less on the software engineering industry and more on the pragmatic lessons I learned from building a tech company. It will be a personal account of creative micro-entrepreneurship and all it entails.

I've always been most inspired by business writers like Derek Sivers, Paul Graham, Seth Godin, and Jason Fried. They're formidable entrepreneurs and business operators who write well and share their ideas.

That's what I aspire to achieve.

I look forward to the journey ahead and hope you'll join me.

I grapple with a familiar feeling as I embark on a new career phase.

Despite having shifted roles three times in the last decade, I still feel a sense of being adrift during these transitions. Excitement for what's to come intertwines with a wistfulness for what I must let go of to achieve my vision.

Transitional moments are uncomfortable, and being a beginner again is humbling.

It's like reliving the awkwardness of adolescence after knowing what it's like to be an adult.
