Unrelated: Embracing Self-Responsibility

Adlerian psychology is a philosophical thought opposed to nihilism. Regardless of past events, the meaning attributed to them shapes one's present. Adlerian psychology promotes courage. One's own life and everyday actions are determined by oneself. In its true sense, responsibility is something that only individuals can assume for themselves. This has led to the concept of the separation of tasks. In other words, the idea posits, "Who will bear the consequences of the choices made?" Those who are not responsible for the outcome should not interfere in the tasks of others. An educator should not be a judge but a counselor always there for the child. Instead of competing with others, focus on cooperation.

Determining one's value is self-reliance. A person does not live to fulfill someone else's expectations, whether a parent, teacher or anyone else. Instead of seeking approval, one must confirm oneself with one's mindset. Allowing another person to determine one's worth is a form of dependence.

Lifestyle refers to the patterns of thought and behavior in life. Past causes do not drive people; they move towards the goals they set. The essential factor is not what one is born with but how one utilizes their abilities. Living in the present, individuals can determine their own lives. No matter what has occurred, it should not dictate how one lives.

Loneliness is the deep sense of exclusion from others, society, and the community. Taking even a single step forward can be frightening, making practical efforts seem undesirable. The feeling of inferiority arises from a perceived lack in one's present situation. In our culture, weakness can be transformed into strength.

Instead of attempting to change or manipulate others in their presence, accept them as they are without any conditions. When another person accepts and embraces someone "as they are," it can instill great courage.

"Respect means being concerned about the growth and development of others." It involves accepting and valuing individuals without negating or forcing anything. Respect can be seen as the foundation of encouragement.

We need to see through the eyes of others, listen with their ears, and empathize with their hearts. None of us live in a world defined by goals but in a subjective world where we assign meaning. In other words, we are not predetermined by past events. Instead, we shape our lives based on the significance of those events. That's why people strive to feel "okay with things as they are," no matter how challenging life becomes. They seek ingredients that affirm their current situation and accept themselves.

A person who extends a helping hand to those in need can be called a comrade. When expressed as a personal grudge, anger becomes a tool for asserting dominance over others. When faced with a power struggle, one must never allow themselves to be deceived. Regardless of how you believe you are right, try not to criticize the other party. Behavior should have two objectives: self-reliance and living in harmony with society.

Relationships in which people restrict each other tend to fall apart. Such restrictions reveal a mindset of attempting to control one's partner and stem from a lack of trust. It is not about what one is born with but how one utilizes their abilities.
